Art to Adore
A wee bit about me
I have been an artist for many years and now, thanks to the internet, I can bring my artworks directly to anyone who can access it (like you).
I started out in Nuneaton, a small town in the middle of England, but left at the age of 18 to go to Art College. I have combined being a mother and an artist with different jobs – as an art teacher, outdoor instructor, youth worker, bar staff, shop assistant etc. All through, however, I continued to make art and even occasionally sold it.
I have lived, exhibited and travelled all over the world and this has had a direct influence on my work.
I currently live in Malawi (SE Africa) and help organise Abantu Emporium, an Art Gallery and Craft shop in Lilongwe, the capital city. I also participate internationally in exhibitions and Art Fairs, most recently Glasgow Contemporary Art Fair (May 2018).
